BMC Engineer

Position is for Livingston, NJ or Fort Worth, TX, Build Team

Rate: $49/hour all inclusive

Duration – 15 mos.

 
 

BMC Engineer - Plan, design and set up BMC Suite of tools for data collection across the environment, creating customized workloads and population of resulting data to a database for publication in Perceive and utilization analysis.  Design environment server monitoring and notification system using BMC Performance Manager (Patrol) and Performance Assurance (Perform).  Customize Wintel & UNIX and log file monitoring components to meet specific system monitoring and notification needs.  Customize Web Sphere KM monitoring parameters to provide more detailed application performance data.  Analyze system performance and project future utilization (Predict) to plan and schedule environment upgrades before reaching system capacity limits.  Create custom scripts to take corrective measures and automate when triggered by an event from the BMC suite.  Create system diagrams and documentation for client application components and component interaction
